Did you know…that on January 29, 1958, House Bill 12, calling for the designation of June 2 of each succeeding year as First Lady’s Day, was passed by the House of Delegates to honor Virginia First Ladies, including our own Martha Dandridge Custis Washington and Letitia Christian Tyler?
